In my artistic journey, while exploring various creative avenues, from crafting funky log chairs to sculpting stone, having a passion for trying anything new, the focus has been on the vast world of painting. Working with acrylic brings paintings to life with vibrant colors and intriguing textures. The fast-drying nature of acrylics allows building layer upon layer, giving the pieces depth and dimension. Incorporating an array of media, such as markers, pencils, pastels, and more serves to enhance the richness of the paintings. This eclectic mix adds unique elements that further captivate the viewer's imagination. Canvas size? The bigger the better! Embracing the challenge of bringing large canvases to life is fun, frustrating, and fulfilling in the creative process. Not having tackled anything larger than a two-car garage door, the potential for greater accomplishments is there, waiting for me. Each new project is an opportunity to push artistic boundaries and grow as an artist. Exciting times!
